Here it is! Alex’s anxiously awaited GLAM session reveal! She wanted sparkly so we went all out sparkling her up! Another masterpiece by Kerry-Anne and Kishel~we love how these turned out!

We love getting in the pool with the camera especially when our model is as comfortable in the water as she is out of the water! As an accomplished senior swimmer for Delta, Hannah totally rocked our underwater signature session! She was so much fun to capture and perfectly comfortable modeling in the water. We had so much fun with her and we even got to see all of our impressive medals! Hope your senior year is awesome Hannah!

Each year the Muncie Star Press sponsors the annual Muncie Area’s Finest competition. Readers can vote for their favorite local businesses, restaurants, events, activities and services. Kishel Photography has won in 2 categories: Muncie’s Finest Photography Studio, and Muncie’s finest photographer for the past 3 years and we’re so thrilled to add another year to our record! This week we went to the 2014 Muncie Area’s Finest winner’s reception to receive our plaque for this year and be recognized by The Star Press for the studio’s excellence in our community.

Thanks to everyone who voted for us this year and thank you to all of our supporters! Marsh was the host of this year’s soiree…Here’s a fun little impromptu photo shoot we did afterwards…

Dauntless Diva! Carson is one of our fabulous 2015 models…her signature Kishel shoot was designed based on the Divergent series. Her faction of choice? Dauntless. We took Carson to one of our top secret locations to capture the rugged dauntless look. She was such a great model~totally rocked the look and was a blast to be with!

This 2014 Senior is not only gorgeous, but has the best eye for fashion! Breanna was so much fun to photograph~She had so many fun outfits and is such a sweetie! Just love the black lace and the cute dresses!

We had such a great turnout at Runway for Rescues! The animals stole the show! Thanks to everyone who came and supported this event~we raised over $1,400 for ARF!

There were so many cute fur babies that worked the runway. Our favorite catwalk moments? When the poodle stole the show with her very intentional, perfect prancing all the way down the catwalk and back~It was like she knew exactly what she was doing!  And  of course the adorable Frankie (cutest wiener dog ever) in his dapper beret!

A special Thank You to all the ‘Runway for Rescues’ sponsors~ The Buckle, Printing Creations, H & D Superent & Special Occasions,  Cornerstone Center for the Arts, Outfitters, Runnertainment! Without you all and the volunteers from Muncie ARF this event wouldn’t have been possible! We loved every second of it, such a fun day for such a fun cause!! The models were flawless and the animals were so cute!! What a fabulous day!

We’re so excited to work with Premiere Dance Studio this year! We’ll be photographing all of the dancers in May but the studio held try-outs to have the opportunity to do one of our 2014 Kishel Signature photo shoots! Here are our favorites!

Just in case you haven’t been downtown lately…we’re in the middle of Historically restoring the facade of our studio building! Please pardon the destruction~ but it will be fabulous when it’s finished! Until New Years (when the project should be completed) we’re asking clients to please use our Backdoor entrance when possible~ yes, there’s better parking back there too! Be sure to like our posts and pictures to be sure our updates stay in your newsfeed! Here’s a few from today’s demolition!! PS. they’ll be a huge party celebrating the finished project~ as we near the end we’ll be posting the details!!

We like to stand out and think of creative ways to get our studio name out there…Amanda’s latest brilliant marketing endeavor? Have a float in Ball State’s Homecoming parade! What a fun and unique way to get our senior models involved in spreading the word, and getting our Kishel brand out there! Our senior model program is full of fun surprise perks like being involved in our float this year for the parade! The theme? There’s no place like homecoming! With a Wizard of Oz theme, we came up with the best idea to incorporate it into showing what our photography studio is all about. We did a “glammed” up Dorothy(complete with the cutest Toto ever!), a glam Glinda, and coordinated our 2014 senior models with red sparkly lips and all! With Glinda’s bubbles surrounding us, and the Tin man DJing our very own custom “Kishel” Wizard of Oz mix, we featured a live glam shoot with Dorothy on our float! It was a blast and it came together perfectly! Our models were super fun and had a great time with the crowd! We had so many people come together to make this happen-thanks to everyone for your help and creative minds coming together to make our first float so much fun!
